Today D and I made French Toast for breakfast. The first French Toast I have ever made. I found a recipe which guaranteed it would not be soggy so I went out on a limb and made it. It was so good that we made a second batch! We also watched the 7th disk of Death Note, only 2 more to go!


D bought me two different Valentine cards because he couldn't choose between them. That made me laugh because it reminded me of Mom, who has done that on several occasions. He also gave me a box of chocolates, an extra-dark collection from Ghirardelli. He certainly made me feel very special.

Last night we bought the boys a new bed. Their current bed is in really bad shape, holes chewed in it and everything. I was concerned about not finding a suitable replacement because most dog beds have a fairly high ledge and Feni has trouble lifting his back legs. His legs are so short anyway. But I found a bed that lets us un-tie the sides so they lay flat. It's perfect for our needs. Both Feni and Alex are enjoying it. Well, Feni is enjoying it when Alex allows him to sit in it anyway.
