Herbs for Helen & Harold

This morning I harvested Basil, Rosemary, Oregano and Thyme from the garden and took them to Harold. The anniversary of Helen's twin sister's death is Saturday. She's going to make her sister's favorite pasta in memoriam. I think it's a wonderful idea. Much like when I made my Dad's Peanut Butter Pie on Mother's Day.

Today was also BBL's birthday! We tried to phone her this morning but she had already gone to school. We finally caught her after choir practice. D and I were pretty tired by then so our rendition was lacking somewhat. BBL sounded like she appreciated it anyway. D only mailed her card yesterday so I was glad to hear that she did get it in time.

Finished Marianne in Chains. Thank goodness - it was rather dry.
