Whenever D and I get in the mood for a hamburger at lunchtime, we go right down the street to the Burger King. It's cheap, usually quick and they take our orders accurately. A few weeks ago this display appeared next to the counter. It's the plans for a 9-11 memorial at the firehouse just across the street. They've had a WTC steel beam on display there for quite some time but it's a difficult place to get into due to all the intersection traffic. I think they're smart to put this display in the restaurant instead. I haven't been able to patronize many Salvation Army bellringers this December, so I try to throw a buck into the boot when I can. Should be interesting to see how the memorial looks once finished.
