Had my 6mo followup sonogram for my "nodular breast" today (I tell you, those techs do nothing for your self esteem). There's been no growth since June. They do want to see me again in 6mo for another mammogram and another sonogram because on rare occasions benign fibroadenomas may become cancerous. If that followup is clear then I won't have another scan until I'm 40, which is a good thing since my insurance won't cover it until then. It galls me to pay for my mammograms and sonograms out-of-pocket - they are not cheap! Well, that will be one benefit of turning 40...
