D chose the Carrick's Creek trail because it has a lot of waterfalls on it. Our blaze color was green but it seems the trails intersect, so we hiked parts of most of them.
The trail was damp but not muddy. I had no fear of bears because there were so many people on the trail. It was a little chilly but once the elevation started to climb, we worked up a sweat!
Even though the waterfalls were small we could still hear their babble for most of the hike.
After the hike D said he was thinking of pizza, so we stopped by The Mellow Mushroom. In addition to our standard Kosmic Karma, we tried a Caesar this time. It's a pesto chicken and feta pizza with a dressed salad on top. It was so good! We ate all of it and brought most of the Karma home for leftovers.
