It's January 15th and in our household that means it's time to make Chicken n' Dumplings. Family lore has it that if you are faithful and make dumplings on CLB's birthday, it will snow. I know the forecast for tomorrow calls for precipitation - we did our part, now we wait to see what falls from the sky.

don't think I ever asked you - is this the dutch oven you liked at the kitchen shop in Sommerville? glad you're enjoying it so much. sometime you'll have to let me sample your chicken & dumplings. don't think I've ever eaten any that looks like your recipe.
