Mojitos from Mojitos.
As they did not have any rum in them, they were more like
limeades, with mint.
Pulled pork sandwich from Smoke on the Water. Very good and gone in less than 2 minutes!
Fish Taco from Takosushi. A little too fishy for me. Had a kick to it!
Crab cake from Soby's. Good - not too 'crabby'.
The remoulade had sweet corn in it, very tasty!
Chicken Tandoori from India Palace.
We didn't like the chutney.
Pumpkin Cheesecake from
Two Chefs. It had been sitting out
way too long. It was more like mousse.
There was also entertainment to be had. We sat through a set from the Firecracker Jazz Band. They were really good and funny too. I wouldn't mind hearing them again sometime.
Next was a two-hour concert by the Navy band. D and I thought it would be like the concert we heard in DC, a marching band or instrumental ensemble. Nope. This was a rock concert. It wasn't really my favorite stuff, but it was free and it had good atmosphere. And it was loud. My ears are still ringing.

The navy band was called Four Star Edition. Their blend was eclectic from Beatles and Van Morrison to Pink and Daughtry.
The Firecracker Jazz Band played early jazz: several King Oliver selections, some Duke Ellingtion, and thier own compositions with a dixieland flavor.
The food was pretty good. But my bbq sauce is better than Smoke on the Water's :)
